Introduction to Tableau Public Workshop
Do you work with community, local government, or nonprofit data? Want to turn raw information into clear, compelling visuals that drive decisions? Join us for a one-day workshop introducing you to Tableau Public — a free, user-friendly software for creating interactive dashboards and data stories. Participants will receive hands-on instruction and by the end of the workshop, will be able to:
- Understand the basics of Tableau Public
- Locate, manage and prepare local data
- Connect to spreadsheets, GIS data and other common data sources
- Build basic interactive charts, maps, and dashboards from scratch.
- Publish and share dashboards online to engage your audience.
